Entrepreneurship Assistance
Introduction
In addition to supporting the employment of individuals with disabilities, alternative services are provided to encourage self-employment. These include entrepreneurship assistance services, interest subsidies for business loans, self-reliance entrepreneurship grants, entrepreneurship consultations, guidance, skill training workshops, and more.
Legal Basis
In accordance with Articles 33 and 37 of the People with Disabilities Rights Protection Act and the Implementation Methods and Subsidy Guidelines for Entrepreneurship Assistance Services for Persons with Disabilities.
Objective
To provide entrepreneurship assistance for individuals with disabilities who are interested in starting their own businesses. This support helps them prepare thoroughly and conduct comprehensive risk management assessments prior to launching their ventures, leveraging their professional skills to succeed in entrepreneurship.
Implementation Methods
Municipal and county (city) authorities offer entrepreneurship assistance services based on the needs of individuals with disabilities in their jurisdictions (specific services provided by local governments may vary; please contact the relevant local government for confirmation):
- Interest Subsidies for Business Loans
Subsidize loan interest for entrepreneurship loans to reduce the financial burden on individuals with disabilities starting their businesses.
- Entrepreneurship Consultation and Guidance
Provide professional advice on tax and legal matters, product marketing and management, financial planning, and cost control. These services help address barriers to entrepreneurship and stabilize business operations.
- Entrepreneurship Skill Training Workshops
Organize relevant courses to help individuals with disabilities enhance their entrepreneurial skills and understand government resources available for entrepreneurship support.
- Other Entrepreneurship Services for Individuals with Disabilities
Local governments may provide additional support measures based on regional needs, such as self-reliance entrepreneurship grants, marketing promotion, and other forms of assistance.
